DFI Executive Mobility Intelligence
Transportation price is visible. The value of time consumed by fragmented movement often is not. This analysis makes that cost measurable.
The governing question
Compare commercial and private door-to-door movement, calculate the collective value of the party’s time, and estimate what a more controlled mobility environment could return. This tool informs private consideration; it does not assume private aviation is appropriate for every mission.

Airport results include worldwide airports with at least one documented runway of 5,000 feet or longer.
Enter annual economic value, including salary, business income, contractual earnings, or another reasonable measure of responsibility.
Individual entries must be between $60,000 and $20 million. These values estimate the economic value of time and do not determine eligibility for Authority Access or private aviation.
Annualization reveals what repeated fragmentation consumes over time.
Adjust the defaults when the actual airport, itinerary, baggage, or ground requirements are known.
The default commercial predeparture process totals 120 minutes, consistent with a two-hour airport-arrival allowance.
Private timing reflects FBO-based movement. It is not a charter quotation or aircraft recommendation.
This analysis compares estimated door-to-door time. Private charter pricing is intentionally excluded because aircraft selection must follow the mission.
Illustrative educational analysis only. Results are estimates based on user entries, geographic distance, and stated assumptions. They do not constitute a charter quotation, financial advice, a guarantee of savings, or confirmation that an airport or aircraft is operationally suitable. Aircraft, operator, runway, weather, weight, performance, and regulatory requirements require independent mission-specific verification.
Transparent methodology
The analysis includes ground movement, airport processes, boarding, airborne time, arrival procedures, and destination transfer—not flight time alone.
Annual economic value is divided by productive hours. A recognition factor prevents the model from assuming every recovered hour becomes earned income.
A 5,000-foot runway is an initial directory filter, not operational approval. Final airport and aircraft suitability remain subject to operator verification.
Airport and runway directory derived from the public-domain OurAirports datasets. Data may be incomplete or inaccurate and is provided only for initial comparison. Commercial airport-arrival assumptions should be adjusted for airline, airport, itinerary, baggage, security program, and current conditions.
Private consideration
It is whether a particular responsibility, route, party, and schedule justify a more prepared mobility alternative.
